Enhancing Practice—Improving Care (EPIC) is an NIH-funded program to assist primary care practices improve their ability to provide high quality chronic care. Although the program emphasizes improved care for diabetes and depression, participating practices can use the EPIC tools and techniques to improve practice operations and chronic care across a broad array of conditions.
